摘要: Experiments were performed to examine the influence of an external homogeneous magnetic field – transversal or longitudinal on ferrofluid convection in horizontal, inclined and vertical layers. The integral local temperature sensors used for measuring heat transport across layer. flow patterns visualized by a temperaturesensitive liquid crystal sheet. results indicate that with help it is possible control stability form convective motions. A number non-linear regimes convection, e.g., spiral-defect chaos, blinking localized states observed. repeated long-wave transients from Rayleigh pure conduction case horizontal enclosure shear under inclination also revealed.
