摘要: In the present attempt, flow behavior and thermal convection of one type nanofluids in a disc geometry was investigated using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Influence gravity induced sedimentation also has been studied. The commercial software, Fluent 6.2, employed to solve governing equations. A user defined function added apply uniform external magnetic field. Obtained results showed that critical value for Rayleigh number is near 1708, so simulations are good agreement with theoretical number. addition, it found causes separation phases nanoparticles, besides, increase natural due presence gravity, leads heat transfer enhancement. indicate that, forces able disrupt agglomerates when ratio energy dipole-dipole contact becomes more than unity.
