摘要: Risk stratification of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) by tumor size, lymph node and metastasis status is crucially affected mitotic activity. To date, no studies have quantitatively compared activity in hematoxylin eosin (HE P<0.01). A linear regression model (analysis variance; P<0.001) allowed reliable predictions the H&E-associated mitoses based on Ki-67 expression alone. Additionally, Ki-67-associated proliferation revealed a higher significant impact recurrence rate GIST cases than classical H&E-based rate. The results present study indicated that may be reliably time-efficiently estimated immunohistochemistry using only three hot spots.
