摘要: Arsenic (As) is a common environmental contaminant widely distributed around the world. Human exposure to this metalloid comes from well water and contaminated soil, fish other sea organisms rich in methylated arsenic species, occupational exposure. It has been reported that human causes several health problems such as cancer, liver damage, dermatosis, nervous system disturbances polyneuropathy, EEG abnormalities and, extreme cases, hallucinations, disorientation agitation. Although there evidence toxic effect on are few studies address issue. The purpose of review describe what presently known about effects compounds humans rodents discuss its possible mechanisms action.
