摘要: The perception of future wireless mesh network (WMN) deployment and usage is rapidly evolving. WMNs are now being envisaged to provide citywide "last-mile" access for numerous mobile devices running media-rich applications with stringent quality service (QoS) requirements. Consequently, some current-day conceptions underlying application support in need be revisited. In particular, a large WMN, the dynamic assignment users Internet gateways will become complex traffic engineering problem that consider load peaks, user mobility, handoff penalties. We propose QMesh, framework user-gateway runs inside oblivious routing protocols. It solves management scalable distributed manner. evaluate QMesh through an extensive simulation (mostly VoIP), two settings: (1) real campus network, mobility traces from public CRAWDAD dataset, (2) large-scale urban WMN. Simulation results demonstrate achieves significant QoS improvements capacity increases compared traditional policies, illustrate intelligent gateway within mesh.
