摘要: This paper examines how organizations and society learn from disasters. While learning can does take place, the depth of this is often superficial. The argues that lessons are more fundamental learnt with difficulty. In order to examine aetiology disasters organizational them, presents a theoretical framework based on systems theory. Contemporary thought complements framework. Two industries, oil industry aviation industry, examined in different types learning. Finally, addresses obstacles issue risk migration.
