摘要: Background and objectives We previously demonstrated that intense pulsed light (IPL) irradiation prior to wounding improved the wound healing in rats with diabetes mellitus (DM). Also, we found IPL upregulated expression of aquaporin 3 (AQP3), a protein is crucial for healing, normal rats. This present study aimed examine involvement AQPs IPL-enhanced diabetic Study design/materials methods Streptozotocin was used induce Sprague-Dawley Animals were divided into four groups: group, DM only treatment 2 weeks before (DM + IPL-Pre group), concurrent IPL-Con group). Wounds created on dorsal skin The expressions AQP1, 3, 4, 7, 9 pre-injured skin, periwound, determined. Results Among all analyzed, AQP3 AQP7 significantly altered. Unirradiated showed much higher level regenerating compared pretreatment, but not treatment, attenuated toward detected wounds. In contrast, lower noted pretreatment similar Conclusion beneficial effect might involve mechanism by which regulated. Lasers Surg. Med. © 2020 Wiley Periodicals LLC.
