摘要: To explore further the relation between admission glucose concentration and outcome in stroke, we measured glucose, fructosamine, glycosylated hemoglobin concentrations on 216 patients seen within 24 hours after onset of their first stroke. Fructosamine reflects degree glycemia preceding 4-6 weeks that 3 months. Based clinical, computed tomographic, necropsy findings, strokes were classified as cortical infarction, lacunar or intracerebral hemorrhage. Analyses done including excluding 47 diabetic patients. No correlation neurologic mortality fructosamine was found. Survival showed a significant with only for Our results suggest hyperglycemia is unlikely to worsen acute stroke probably represents either latent state stress response.
