摘要: Resistance to chemotherapeutic drugs is the major hindrance in successful cancer therapy. The tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) a member of factor (TNF) family ligands, which initiates apoptosis cells through interaction with death receptors DR4 and DR5. TRAIL perceived as an attractive agent it specifically targets while sparing normal cells. However, therapy has limitation large number develop resistance toward escape from destruction by immune system. Therefore, elucidation molecular signaling pathways responsible for imperative devising effective therapeutic strategies resistant cancers. Although, various leading are well-studied, recent studies have implicated that contribution some key cellular processes need be fully elucidated. These primarily include aberrant protein synthesis, misfolding, ubiquitin regulated receptor expression, metabolic pathways, epigenetic deregulation, metastasis. Novel synthetic/natural compounds could inhibit these defective may restore sensitivity combination therapies such resensitize TRAIL-induced apoptosis. In this review, we summarized associated their status novel TRAIL-sensitizing agents.
