摘要: Objective tinnitus (OT) may be caused by contraction of the tensor tympani muscle (TTM). The more forcefully TTM contracts, greater intensity OT heard. Forceful closure both eyelids can reflexively cause contracting TTM. Eyelid Closure Syndrome (FECS) was reported at Proceedings Second International Tinnitus Seminar in 1983.1 FECS consists several factors: (1) (2) An associated waning hearing primarily lower frequencies, as much 45 dB 125 Hz, 30 to 40 250 Hz ascending patient's norm 2000 and approximately a 5 10 4000 20 8000 (3) Retraction manubrium posterior mid-third tympanic membrane (TM) malleus-umbo area seen under otomicroscope (OM) 25% (108) 432 ears examined (4) These same were 75% (324) positive for increased impedance maximum compliance with FEe. Of patients studied, had no response or audiometry.
