摘要: Mixed-bed chromatography is based on the use of multiple sorbents mixed together and packed in a single column. Solid-phase combinatorial libraries are current example mixed-bed with large number immobilized affinity ligands each them attached to different bead. They have been repeatedly reported reduce dynamic protein concentration range from biological extracts when used overloading conditions. By that way trace proteins can easily be enhanced analyzed. When under-saturation conditions they constitute generic remove minor impurity traces still present even highly purified product. Whereas ligand generally neutral environment for capturing phase, also acidic or alkaline specific advantages due modulation constants. cascades involving ion exchangers approaches allowing fractionation. This review reports various applications related fractionation not only proteomics investigations, but preparative purposes.
