Worker, Peasant or Entrepreneur? Analysis of the Entrepreneurial Logics and Practices of Family Farmers in Agrarian Reform Cooperatives in the Saiss (Morocco)

摘要: The aim of this paper is to analyze the emerging entrepreneurial practices and underlying logic family farms in two agrarian reform cooperatives Morocco. These can be explained by constant negotiation multiple sometimes even antagonistic logics (peasant, entrepreneurial, proletarian, capitalistic) within these a context rapid change juxtaposition different farm types on same territory. Five factors illustrate emergence: (1) access credit, (2) functioning (rotation crops, use inputs, workforce), 3) groundwater resources, (4) marketing adopted farmers (5) informational factors. porosity peasant worlds main lesson we draw from our study. There subtle process hybridization between modes farming, with wide range profiles, ranging pure 'peasant', 'entrepreneur' peasant-entrepreneur entrepreneur-peasant. If only focus political discourse, trend development new farming seems inescapable. Our study stresses resistance which mix 'modern' vision agriculture. However, siren songs entrepreneurship lead bankruptcy, an exit agriculture, could have strong impact social cohesion Moroccan society, particularly rural areas.
