摘要: This invention relates to an improved real-time scanning fluorescence electrophoresis apparatus for the electrophoretic analysis of fluorescently-labeled polynucleotide fragments. The is characterized by having chamber containing separation medium capable accommodating multiple lanes arranged in a planar array, detector mounted on translatable stage, light source exciting fluorescent molecules, and computer collecting data consisting time, location, wavelength intensity information. improvements herein disclosed include: (i) using spectral-array detecting emission from said fragments including simultaneous detection labels, (ii) temperature control means during electrophoresis.
