摘要: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a widely-used low-power wireless standard in the Internet of Things (IoT) domain. This provides set advertisement channels, which are primarily used for device discovery, connection initiation, and information broadcast. Beacon transmission over these ad-vertisement channels enabler applications such as indoor positioning, product advertisement, medical monitoring. Meanwhile, performance accuracy highly depend on characteristics communication channels. Unfortunately, existing literature does not offer an extensive characterization under various operational conditions. In this paper, we address research gap through conducting experiments four different environments. We study effect environment interference noise floor signal propagation, present model extract parameters log-normal path loss model. The proposed models, particular, can be directly simulation tools modeling BLE well positioning.
