摘要: The proliferation of embedded systems, wireless technologies, and Internet protocols have enabled the Things (IoT) to bridge gap between virtual physical world through enabling monitoring actuation controlled by data processing systems. Wireless despite their offered convenience, flexibility, low cost, mobility pose unique challenges such as fading, interference, energy, security, which must be carefully addressed when using resource-constrained IoT devices. To this end, efforts research community led standardization several technologies for various types application domains depending on factors reliability, latency, scalability, energy efficiency. In paper, we first overview these standard specifically study MAC layer proposed address requirements communications. Furthermore, explain use standards in domains, smart homes, healthcare, industrial automation, cities, discuss suitability satisfying applications. addition proposing guidelines weigh pros cons each an at hand, also examine what new strategies can exploited overcome existing support emerging
