Carcinoma of the thyroid gland: a statistical study of 390 patients.

摘要: At the University of California Hospitals a study has been made 390 patients with thyroid carcinoma who were observed in 40-year period between 1920 and 1959. Thyroid was found both lobes at time “initial operation” 19 per cent these patients, regional lymph node metastases reported one or another 42 cent. These data warrant more radical surgical approach to carcinoma. During past fifteen years, therefore, majority such have treated by forms thyroidectomy.
