摘要: Direct Laser Melting is a prototyping process whereby 3-D part built layer wise by melting the metal powder with laser scanning. This strongly influenced shielding gas and operating parameters such as power, scan rate, layering thickness, rescanning. The especially important in affecting microstructure mechanical properties. In current study, fabrication experiments were conducted order to analyze effect of on forming characteristics direct melting. Cylindrical parts produced from Fe-Ni-Cr 200W fiber laser. Surface quality, porosity hardness function thickness shield evaluated. By decreasing surface quality improved decreased. selection which gas, Ar or , obtain better lower porosity, higher was examined. formability properties atmosphere are than those formed under an atmosphere.
