摘要: Microhardness and wear resistance of different microstructures formed by TIG (tungsten inert gas) surface melting chromium alloying (using ferrochromium) ADI (austempered ductile iron) were studied. Surface resulted in the formation a ledeburitic structure melted zone, this has hardness up to 896 HV as compared 360 that ADI. Moreover, structures including: (1) hypereutectic consisting primary (Fe,Cr)7C3 carbides eutectic matrix transformed austenite (into martensite retained austenite) , also carbides, with 1078 HV; (2) hypoeutectic same along austenite, 755 (3) an acicular morphology HV. The results indicated reduced rate approximately 37%. Also, yielded superior behavior treated specimens about 38% 70%, depending on formed.
