摘要: Individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are vulnerable to vaccine-preventable infections due impaired immunity, immunosuppressive treatments and dialysis. Protection of CKD patients by vaccination is hampered reduced efficacy vaccines safety concerns for transplant candidates or recipients. 'Cocooning' policies, targeting the protection a individual through immunization close contacts, have recently been introduced infants and, lesser degree, high-risk groups immunocompromised individuals.
