摘要: Individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are vulnerable to vaccine-preventable infections due impaired immunity, immunosuppressive treatments and dialysis. Protection of CKD patients by vaccination is hampered reduced efficacy vaccines safety concerns for transplant candidates or recipients. 'Cocooning' policies, targeting the protection a individual through immunization close contacts, have recently been introduced infants and, lesser degree, high-risk groups immunocompromised individuals. In this article, we discuss potentiality implementing cocoon strategies group conclude that not yet officially recommended policy can substantially contribute against infection motivate among families healthcare workers.
