摘要: UK drinkers regularly consume alcohol in excess of guideline limits. One reason for this may be the high availability low-cost alcoholic beverages. The introduction a minimum price per unit policy has been proposed as means to reduce consumption. However, there is little in-depth research investigating public attitudes and beliefs regarding pricing policy. aim present was investigate people’s toward their views on how could made acceptable general public. Transcribed focus-group discussions analysed emergent themes using inductive thematic content analysis. Analysis indicated that participants’ objections had three main themes: (1) scepticism an effective harmful consumption; (2) dislike number reasons (e.g., it perceived ‘punish’ moderate drinker); (3) concern create or exacerbate existing social problems.
