Pregabalin for the management of neuropathic pain in adults with cancer: a systematic review of the literature.

摘要: Objective: To systematically identify and appraise the current literature of pregabalin in treatment neuropathic pain resulting from cancer or treatment. Design: A systematic review was conducted based on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses. Interventions Subjects: Studies reporting data adult (>18 years) patients with experiencing due to treatment/surgery were considered eligible inclusion. Methods: search PubMed February 22, 2012 using following terms: "neuropath* AND OR oncology tumor tumour pregabalin." Open access journals also searched. Abstracts screened reviewed eligibility predetermined criteria Data intensity, interference, quality life, symptom global impression change, satisfaction, adverse effects predefined factors analysis. summarized descriptively variations study outcome measures. Results: Five articles inclusion; one double-blind National Cancer Institute common toxicity controlled trial, single-arm open-label study, two observational analyses, case report. Conclusions: There limited published efficacy safety outcomes cancer. Due limitations within studies included this review, it is not possible draw any conclusions descriptive summary cancer-related pain, further are required.
