Lower extremity musculoskeletal disorders in nurses: A narrative literature review

摘要: Aims: The aim of the narrative review was to describe and analyze lower extremity musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in nurses identify factors associated with these disorders. ultimate goal promote health by recognizing that could improve their well-being at work. Methods: A systematic search on Medline, CINAHL, PsychInfo databases conducted, producing altogether 945 citations, which 35 were selected for this review. studies analyzed content analysis. Results: Nurses have different MSDs extremities, knee, foot, ankle being most commonly affected. These problems are often correlated, can first appear as knee problems. Conclusions: Musculoskeletal extremities resulting disability common within nursing workforce worldwide, representing a major cause sick leave absence leading long-term absence.
