摘要: BACKGROUND: Manual patient handling is known to be the major source of musculoskeletal load among hospital nurses. OBJECTIVES: The objectives this study were determine prevalence disorders (MSDs), assess manual risk and identify factors associated with MSDs symptoms nursing staff. METHODS: This cross-sectional was conducted 400 randomly selected nurses from 75 wards 11 hospitals. Data collected by demographic Nordic questionnaires together MAPO checklist. Prevalence estimated confidence interval 95%. Chi-square test independent sample t-test used investigate differences for variables between subjects without MSDs. Some form had been experienced during last 12 months 88.2% subjects. assessment revealed that 83.5% individuals at risk. Statistical showed tenure, nurse bed ratio, gender, shift working score ( p< 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: personnel high occurrence found score. Based on results, improve conditions, it imperative provide lifting equipment, implement training programs increase ratio
