摘要: The development of tissue-culture systems in duckweed has been limited to species the genus Lemna. Here we report on a system (callus induction, callus growth and plant regeneration) for rootless Wolffia arrhiza. We developed two-step procedure induction using Schenk & Hildebrandt (SH) medium containing glucose, mannitol sorbitol. In first stage, explants were precultivated presence 5.0 mg l−1 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid 0.5 N6-benzyladenine (BA) 16 weeks. second BA was replaced with 12.5 Picloram (PCL) 4 resulting could be maintained vitro long time (about 1 year) relatively low concentration PCL (4.0 l−1), or used regenerate whole plants by transferring it regulator-free SH medium. protocols created regeneration highly efficient at each stage (with efficiency 97 % formation 78 regeneration).
