摘要: Various water-immiscible solvents were tested for biocompatibility and hydrocarbon recovery under different contact conditions with the hydrocarbon-rich microalga Botryococcus braunii. Eighteen first selected from a database of 1500 compounds (compiled solvent selection ethanol Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentation). Nine these candidate shown to be biocompatible B. braunii following short times. This tends associated high molecular weights boiling points but strongly depends on chemical structure. A low polarity is essential calculated octanol-water partition coefficients, or capacity factors determined by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), are suitable predictors High recoveries hydrocarbons directly algal culture require relatively polar are, therefore, inimical maintenance cell viability. The inaccessibility weakly surface appears protect algae also prevents substantial stored in outer walls. In order achieve recovery, must carried out concentrated filtration. Then, large fraction can recovered, after time, without impairing Under conditions, pertinent property affinity nonpolar hydrocarbons, highest yield, approximately 70% 30 min, achieved hexane.
