摘要: The choice of an experimental organism in biology often determines what experiments can be performed, and thus may set limits on the physical level at which information gained. If human brain with its 1010 neurons were chosen as object, specification all neuronal interconnections would too difficult about it this could not obtained. Electron microscopy rat’s has been done, but electron microscopic mapping entire is feasible. Also, convenient to use smallest metazoan (50 μ) study gross chemical composition a brain, nor insert electrodes protozoan (5 μ). This say one working eliminates certain organisms because size restraints.
