摘要: Influence of sulphuric acid on compressive strength concrete made with blended cement-cassava peel ash was investigated in this study. This is a view to determining the level resistance such acidic exposure. Cassava (CPA) prepared from uncontrolled burning used substitute cement at 5, 10, 15 and 20% by weight as binder. Concrete mix proportions 1:2:4 (batching weight) were slump value within 60G 10 mm while water-binder ratios (w/b) being noted. A total 90 cubes mixture sizes 150 cast cured fresh water (as control), 0.5, 1.0 1.5 M concentrations solution (H2SO4) for 7, 28, 56 days. The determined expiration each curing age. results showed that w/b increased increase quantity CPA mixture. Compressive cement-CPA binder comparable normal when up 15% used, but relatively low obtained H2SO4 solutions, depending CPA. Leaching Porlandite observed worse condition case containing M. reduced well content It concluded did not mitigate adverse effects concrete.
