摘要: The objective of the present study was to determine antimicrobial susceptibility 136 canine isolates Staphylococcus intermedius and 10 S. schleiferi subspecies coagulans 16 fluoroquinolones (FQs), investigate mechanisms resistance in nonsusceptible isolates. Of tested 98.5% were susceptible all FQs whereas only 40% susceptible. Two six schleiferi, found be resistant 13 out FQs, while they retained their fourth generation such as gatifloxacin, moxifloxacin trovafloxacin. Sequencing quinolone-resistance determining regions gyrA grlA genes showed that intermedius, dichotomous associated with occurrence one alteration GyrA-84 GrlA-80, same pattern observed showing these changes gyrA. This is first screen second, third for clinical origin, describe mutations FQ bacterial species.
