摘要: Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, intermedius and delphini together comprise the S. group (SIG). Within SIG, pseudintermedius represents major pathogenic species is involved in a wide variety of infections, mainly dogs, but to lesser degree also other animal humans. Antimicrobial agents are commonly applied control infections; however, during recent years isolates have been identified that meticillin-resistant proved be resistant most antimicrobial approved for veterinary applications. This review deals with genetic basis resistance properties SIG members. A summary known genes their association mobile elements given, as well an update resistance-mediating mutations.
