摘要: We found a new non-native haplotype of Phragmites australis in North America that provides convincing evidence for multiple introductions this highly invasive reed from Europe. Prior to our detection haplotype, invasion by grass was thought be limited single cp-DNA haplotype–haplotype M. However, we two sites colonized L1 Quebec, Canada, native northern Europe, Great Britain and Romania. Because the P. is ongoing, because there intra- inter-specific hybridization increased fecundity resulting outcrossing, more attention should paid genetic differences associated vigor populations introduced across America.
