摘要: In non-clinical (working) populations it is important to differentiate between general distress, on the one hand, and psychiatric symptoms—depression, anxiety somatization—on other hand. The Four-Dimensional Symptom Questionnaire (4DSQ) a new instrument that measures these four symptom dimensions (Terluin, 1996). This study aimed investigate psychometric properties of 4DSQ in working population. A postal stress health survey was sent all employees Dutch telecom company, 51% whom responded (N=3852). mailing included 4DSQ, set questionnaires concerning job (e.g. psychological demands), coping style problem-focused coping, avoidant coping), indicators strain emotional exhaustion, fatigue).
