摘要: The knowledge of racial and ethnic variations in alcohol abuse among US immigrants is limited. We compared the prevalence correlates foreign-born versus US-natives by race-ethnicity using data from National Epidemiological Survey on Alcohol Related Conditions. outcomes included clinical diagnosis, excessive drinking, intoxication. respondents had lower rates than US-born, but some were noted race-ethnicity. risk diagnosis due to traumatic events was higher for population. Future research should continue investigate role stress, specific most problematic immigrant groups, interplay original host culture shaping patterns
