Inverted Takotsubo cardiomyopathy and the fundamental diagnostic role of echocardiography.

摘要: Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is characterized by the development of transient focal wall-motion abnormalities that involve apical and midventricular segments, in absence obstructive coronary artery disease. A variant, inverted takotsubo cardiomyopathy, was described 2010. We report 3 cases which each patient's transthoracic echocardiogram revealed characteristic basal segmental akinesis this variant. This pattern not associated with distribution, it therefore can be differentiated from disease use echocardiography, evaluating distribution temporal changes akinetic areas.
