摘要: Intraspecific chemical diversity is a common phenomenon especially found in shoots of essential oil-accumulating plant species. Abiotic factors can influence the concentration oils, but effects are inconsistent and little known how far these may vary within an individual species between chemotypes. Tanacetum vulgare L. occurs various chemotypes that differ composition mono- sesquiterpenoids their shoot tissues. We investigated chemotype grouping mirrored root terpenoid profiles. Furthermore, we studied whether different fertilisation amounts growth morphological traits as well constitutive leaves roots three chemotypes, trans-carvyl acetate, β-thujone, camphor, to degrees. Shoot terpenoids were dominated by monoterpenoids, while contained mainly sesquiterpenoids. The clear based on leaf chemistry was weakly composition. C/N ratio stem height differed All plants responded increased nutrient availability with total biomass specific area decreased root/shoot ratios. Leaf concentrations increasing fertiliser supply, independent chemotype. In contrast leaves, unaffected fertilisation. Our results demonstrate aboveground belowground organs be under selection pressures.
