摘要: We report the characterization, by reverse fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), of 59 hybrids retaining fragments human chromosome 5. Most these are radiation generated gamma irradiating, at low dosage, a monochromosomal hybrid 5 as its only contribution. The partial paints from will make powerful tools for cytogenetic investigations, especially on evolution primates, and examples reported. molecular characterization was refined using 74 sequence-tagged sites (STSs), which allowed physical dissection into 71 distinct regions with an average length 2.7 Mb. panel, therefore, is also suitable high-precision subregional mapping new genes or sequences located As additional resource studies involving 5, we FISH, 73 YACs CEPH. vast majority recognized least one STSs used thus enabling integrated use derived hybrids.
