摘要: The culture of isolated microspores barley (Hordeum vulgare L. cv. Kymppi, an elite malting cultivar) was studied. A careful choice steps resulted in average regeneration frequency 300 green plants per starting material spike. Strong seasonal variation capacity observed. a cold pretreatment method affected the viability microspores. collected at +4°C for 4 weeks needed efficient from microspore cultures. Glutamine omission and copper additions to were glutamine did not affect number regenerated but result increase albino plants. addition improve Transformation by particle bombardment production transgenic
