摘要: Studies have documented the construct validity of Bornstein and Languirand's (2003) Relationship Profile Test (RPT) in college students, psychotherapy patients, nursing home residents, but no studies examined utility RPT Destructive Overdependence (DO), Dysfunctional Detachment (DD), Healthy Dependency (HD) scores community samples. To fill this gap, we assessed links between theoretically related variables low income urban women seeking medical services (N = 110), obtaining predicted on measures childhood abuse neglect, adult attachment style, conflict-resolution tactics involving a domestic partner, Axis I symptomatology, overall quality life. Comparison means sample with those et al.'s student yielded differences that were generally line expectations. These results support suggest may be useful index DO, DD, HD heretofore unexamined population.
