摘要: The Relationship Profile Test is a widely used measure of dependency, detachment, and healthy dependency that has been examined in both clinical nonclinical settings, though researchers have yet to validate this among conjugally bereaved adults. present study examines the construct validity three-facet model dependency-detachment by comparing relationships self-report, semistructured interview-rated, knowledgeable informant-rated functioning Participants (N = 112) included adults (M 51.1 years; SD 9.7) who had experienced loss spouse 1.5 3 years prior taking part study. Findings indicate adequate psychometric properties theoretically expected associations with various measures wellness health including satisfaction life, coping flexibility, somatic complaints, ego resiliency. Results draw attention adaptive correlates suggesting potentially beneficial mental interventions.
