摘要: Coronaviruses are a family of large, enveloped, viruses with helical nucleocapsids and single stranded genomic RNA approximately 30kb message sense (Sturman Holmes, 1983; Spaan et al., 1988). These cause respiratory and/or enteric infections in man many domestic animals (Wege 1982). We particularly interested coronaviruses which infect the intestine. Pigs, cows, dogs, cats mice natural hosts for different each causes intestinal infection only host species. Coronavirus results wide spectrum clinical disease, ranging from inapparent adult to severe, fatal neonatal diarrhea. Immunofluorescence studies show that intestine, coronavirus replication is limited epithelial cells, multinucleated cells frequently observed on tips villi (Barthold 1982; Barthold 1985). were factors virus determine species specificity tissue tropism these enterotropic coronaviruses.
