摘要: A spirally-wound LG 18650 MJ1 lithium-ion battery was imaged in 3D before and after 1061 cycles using X-ray computed tomography. The battery's capacity had faded to 79% of its initial value some that fade attributed delamination the innermost region ‘jelly-roll’ structure. method for virtually unrolling jelly-roll analysing it different coordinates is presented. allows efficient comparison position shape electrodes at times highlights imperfections present cycling which were shown nucleate electrode.
