摘要: Objective: Our purpose was to investigate the relationship between fetal plasma erythropoietin concentration and measures of short-term long-term glycemic control oxygenation in pregnancies complicated by maternal diabetes mellitus. Study Design: A cross-sectional study performed at The Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine, London. Cordocentesis 31 diabetic measurement umbilical venous blood pH, Po 2 , Pco lactate glucose concentration, erythroblast count, hemoglobin, concentrations. Results: mean pH significantly lower lactate, erythropoietin, counts were higher than appropriate normal gestation. There significant associations betwen (1) (2) count (3) hemoglobin glycosylated (4) glucose, lactate. Conclusions: We postulate that hyperglycemia causes acidemia. Increased may be caused tissue hypoxia or hyperinsulinemia. increase consequence increased erythropoiesis, mediated either
