摘要: Libraries are fully aware that sharing unique collections through open access is becoming critically important. Many institutions have attempted to take on the task of digitizing their local content in and present it openly accessible world. This paper describes award winning Chinese Medicine Digital Project which has been developed by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Library close collaboration with faculty School at HKBU integrate traditional medicine into learning, teaching research community beyond. Research shows medicinal limited scarce. In recent years, there witnessed an increasing demand for health information related throughout Making such available world great significance scholars, doctors as well those who need medical treatment. Because nature content, these databases accessed many users around valuable not otherwise them. They serve examples how knowledge can be managed packaged a way provides easy convenient users. The lifecycle illustrates created recreated, organized, disseminated, preserved more importantly accessed. success projects model demonstrates technology used context outside same time enhance institution.
