摘要: Abstract Magnesium matrix composites reinforced with Cu-coated and uncoated SiC particulates were fabricated by a powder metallurgy hot extrusion process, their damping behaviors studied in this paper. The results show that, pure Mg excels the capacity at low temperature; when temperature increases to about 75 °C, of composite will exceed that Mg; further increase 250 °C also cause superior for coated Mg. Especially note one relaxation peak appears spectra composites, besides, is less pronounced than one, which related dislocation mechanism.
