A finite element analysis of plastic relaxation and plastic accumulation at second phase particles

摘要: Abstract An elastic-plastic FE analysis has been used to examine the plastic behaviour of metal matrix within an Al (SiC) P MMC system subjected Understand following basic aspects: (1) how does aluminium affect stress gathering capability particles? (2) concentration increase with further strain? (3) what factors are responsible for low ductility MMCs? The is defined as ratio axial particle far field value. It found that deformation leads relaxation only at early stages strain. Just after relaxation, both particles and reduced, compared those elastic deformation. However, during accumulation, strain hardening overcomes then increases. Eventually, this may even exceed existed before relaxation. Concurrently, consequences these effects on strength composite discussed.
