摘要: Demographic shifts in the labor market require scholars and practitioners to develop a more nuanced understanding of leading motivating employees. The current study uses life span psychology theories examine how age moderates impact an external motivator (perceived prestige) internal (learning goal orientation) on organizational identification. A sample 101 employees completed two surveys with items measuring learning orientation, perceived prestige, identification over 4-month period. data was collected from organization’s HRIS system hierarchical regression used test hypotheses. Perceived prestige positively predicted for younger employees, whereas orientation older These findings suggest that leaders should take perspective human resource management practices, noting different methods be attract, motivate, retain ages.
