摘要: Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the in vivo biocompatibility new resin-based Epiphany-Resilon root canal filling system after implantation rat connective tissue. Study design Thirty-six female Wistar albino rats, 9 months old, weighing 200 220 g, were used biocompatibility. Four subcutaneous pockets created back and each material (Resilon, gutta-percha, a Teflon tube containing Epiphany, an empty tube) implanted into specific dorsal site. tubes as control. After 1, 4, 8 weeks, implants removed with surrounding tissues. inflammatory tissue reactions graded histopathologic examination. Results At time period, there practically no difference reaction all implant materials (P > .05). intensity had diminished by 4-week observation reduction continued through 8-week period. Conclusion All tested showed acceptable
