摘要: Abstract Although C60 is unquestionably not only the cheapest but also most energy-saving fullerene, lack of suitable solvent to make bulk heterojunction composites with it has prevented its use in photocells. Here, shown that a not-so-common organic 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene (TMB) useful prepare cost-effective based on C60. Additionally, chlorine-free TMB expected be environmental friendly compared chloroaromatic solvents commonly used for preparation polymer/fullerene composites. A preliminary evaluation indicated poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT)/C60 photocell prepared from solution shows power conversion efficiency comparable P3HT/PCBM photocell, suggesting should revisited as promising candidate an acceptor material polymer low-cost green
