摘要: This paper examines historical factors related to African American women's rape and their disclosure patterns. It compares similarities differences in incidents of attempted or completed a community sample 55 White women. The possibility that women may not perceive themselves as victims experiences meeting the criteria “real rape” has implications for incidents, well initial lasting effects sexual victimization. Researchers are urged include ethnicity factor contributing self-perceptions survivors.
