摘要: The aim of this work is to study the prevalence osteoporotic vertebral fractures in Spanish women over 45 years age, based on selection a nationwide sample. An observational, cross-sectional, multicenter was conducted during 2006, all Spain's regions. sample analyzed 5000 individuals, representative female population age Spain. A questionnaire used determine which factors are most often associated with fractures. We also assessed whether Prevalent Vertebral Fracture Index, proposed by Vogt, useful indicating possible fracture.
