摘要: The standard approach to reconstruct the medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) is by mini-open incision at its patellar insertion and femoral origin. At patella rim, MPFL may be visualized in most cases dissection during surgery. On femur, it more difficult localize remnants a due soft tissue covering anatomical Therefore, origin usually identified intraoperative lateral fluoroscopy. However, of femur might directly using an arthroscopic extraarticular from knee joint through window synovial layer. This especially helpful on side but also find individual footprints. Arthroscopic reconstruction then performed one additional mid-parapatellar portal. major advantages this technique are individualized procedure, which minimal invasive cosmetically appealing. aim study was describe windows explain procedure with gracilis tendon autograft.
